Dr. Justyna Godos is currently an assistant professor in Human Nutrition. She holds a Ph.D. in Neuroscience during which she explored the relation between dietary factors and sleep quality. Dr. Godos continued her research in the “Oasi di Troina” Research Institute, a facility specialized in neurological disorders. Dr. Godos co-authored more than 80 scientific articles published in international journals and is also a member of the editorial board of several international journals. She presented her research in numerous national and international conferences and lectured at summer schools organized by the NNEdPro Global Centre for Nutrition and Health in Cambridge.

Dr. Justyna Godos’s primary research focuses on how nutritional factors relate to human health. Her key disciplinary area is nutritional epidemiology. Dr. Godos published over 80 scientific articles, and she is mostly known for her research into the health benefits of polyphenol-containing foods and beverages and their effects on chronic diseases, including cardiovascular diseases, cancer, and brain-related disorders. Much of her recent work is centered on establishing the link and relation between diet and mental health and sleep quality.
