Admission Requirements

For the 2026/27 academic year, the University of Catania (UniCT) offers 51 Bachelor’s degree programmes (L) and 9 Single-Cycle Master’s degree programmes (LMCU, lasting 5 or 6 years). The academic offer also includes 52 two-year Master’s degree programmes (LM).

Requirements

To enrol in a Bachelor’s degree programme or a Single-Cycle Master’s degree programme, applicants must have:

• an upper secondary school diploma, or another qualification obtained abroad and recognised as suitable (see the section for international students);

• adequate prior knowledge and preparation.

To enrol in a Master’s degree programme, applicants must have:

• a Bachelor’s degree or a three-year university diploma, or another qualification obtained abroad and recognised as suitable. Students who have not yet completed their degree may also be eligible for conditional enrolment;

• specific curricular requirements.
