GENERAL INORGANIC AND ORGANIC CHEMISTRY 2
Module GENERAL AND INORGANIC CHEMISTRY

Academic Year 2026/2027 - Teacher: SALVATORE PETRALIA

Expected Learning Outcomes

The course aims to transfer to the student the basic knowledge of general chemistry. The student will be directed to study the atomic and molecular structure, the periodic properties of the elements, the chemical bonds, the chemical reactions, the properties of gases and solutions as well as the quantitative aspects of general chemistry.

Course Structure

Frontal lessons

Information for students with disabilities and/or DSA.

As a guarantee of equal opportunities and in compliance with current laws, interested students can ask for a personal interview in order to plan any compensatory and/or dispensatory measures, based on their specific needs and on teaching objectives of the discipline. It is also possible to ask the departmental contacts of CInAP (Center for Active and Participatory Inclusion- Services for Disabilities and/or DSAs), in the persons of professors Giovanna Tropea Garzia and Anna De Angelis.

Required Prerequisites

Knowledge of basic maths, physics and chemistry.

Attendance of Lessons

It is not mandatory but strongly recommended.
