At the end of the course, students will be able to:
Communicate effectively in English in academic and professional contexts related to motor science.
Understand texts and technical instructions in English relating to sport, exercises and motor science.
Write professional documents, such as reports and training cards.
Adapt to intercultural contexts, respecting differences in sports practice.
Listen to and understand oral content, such as technical presentations and sports videos.
Provide clear and professional presentations on movement and physical activity.
These skills prepare students to operate in international contexts and collaborate with experts from the sports and health sectors.
Course Structure
Required Prerequisites
Students should have a minimum CEFR level of B1 in English, with the following skills:
Reading comprehension: read basic articles on sport, anatomy and physiology.
Listening: follow videos and tutorials on movement and training.
Written expression: writing simple reports on sports subjects.
Oral expression: explain exercises and participate in sports discussions.
Minimum technical vocabulary:
Anatomy: muscles, joints, cardiovascular system.
Training: endurance, strength, flexibility.
Sport: equipment, recovery, performance.
