Expected Learning Outcomes

The expected learning outcomes will be related to: knowledge and understanding of the main neurological diseases (Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, multiple sclerosis) and the basic pathophysiological mechanisms; ability to apply knowledge and understanding of the concepts acquired in one's field of work with clinical reasoning, instrumental interpretation, and patient management; independent judgment with the ability to integrate clinical knowledge to make diagnostic and therapeutic decisions; development of communication skills and the ability to communicate with the patient, family members, and other specialists; ability to learn and continuously update one's knowledge and, where appropriate, apply research methods.

Required Prerequisites

The aim of the course will be to acquire knowledge on the most frequent neurological pathologies. Particular attention will be given to neurological pathologies characterized by motor disorders.
