Expected Learning Outcomes

Acquire in-depth knowledge of the fundamental principles of football tactics, with particular reference to the evolution of playing systems, tactical schemes, and both theoretical and practical frameworks of the game. Understand the logic that governs the construction, adaptation, and interpretation of tactical structures based on team objectives.

Apply the theoretical knowledge acquired in real-world contexts by analyzing and designing game situations that are consistent with technical and tactical characteristics, through practical exercises and game simulations. Develop and implement tactical solutions in relation to the different phases of play and the contextual variables typical of football.

Communicate clearly and effectively, using correct technical and tactical terminology.

Theoretical and practical classes on filed

Required Prerequisites

Basic knowledge of the rules of football, the roles and fundamental functions of the players. Knowledge of human movement theory and human physiology.

Introduction to football tactics. evolution of playing models.

General principles of team play: space, time

Tactical principles of the most commonly used systems of play

Possession phase: build-up, development, and finishing

Non-possession phase: pressing, covering, protecting

Breaking the press and counterattack

Tactical simulations on the field: analysis and correction.
