METODOLOGIA DELLA RIABILITAZIONE IN ETA' EVOLUTIVA
Module METODOLOGIE E TECNICHE DELLA RIABILITAZIONE PEDIATRICA

Academic Year 2025/2026 - Teacher: Davide Daniele DE CARLO

Expected Learning Outcomes

Knowledge and Understanding
The student will acquire knowledge of the main developmental clinical conditions relevant to rehabilitation and the theoretical models of pediatric rehabilitation. He or she understands the principles of normal and pathological motor development.
Lectures, analysis of teaching materials, and guided study of scientific literature.

Ability to Apply Knowledge and Understanding
The student will be able to apply the knowledge acquired in the functional assessment of children and in the design of appropriate physiotherapy interventions for different clinical conditions. Practical exercises, clinical simulations, and case study analysis.

Making Independent Judgments
The student will develop critical analysis skills in selecting the most appropriate rehabilitation strategies, considering the clinical context and the needs of the child and family. Guided discussions, critical analysis of clinical cases, and scientific articles.

Communication Skills
The student will acquire the ability to communicate clearly with the multidisciplinary team and the child's family, using appropriate language. Group work, clinical case presentations, and classroom discussions.

Learning Skills
The student will develop skills for independent learning and updating by consulting scientific sources and guidelines in the field of pediatric rehabilitation. Individual study, guided literature research, and analysis of guidelines.
