Knowledge and understanding
Students will acquire knowledge of the fundamental concepts of Occupational Therapy, including the history of the profession, the main theoretical foundations, the professional role of the occupational therapist, ethical principles, and models of professional practice.

Applying knowledge and understanding
Students will be able to recognize and describe the main areas of Occupational Therapy intervention, including occupational assessment, activity analysis, and the use of assistive devices, environmental adaptations, and strategies to support activities of daily living.

Making judgements
Students will develop the ability to analyse individuals’ occupational needs and to evaluate the role of Occupational Therapy in promoting autonomy, participation, and quality of life, with particular attention to the geriatric population.

Communication skills
Students will be able to use appropriate terminology in the field of Occupational Therapy and interact effectively with members of the multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Learning skills
Students will be able to further develop their knowledge of Occupational Therapy through independent study and consultation of scientific and professional sources.

Lectures and discussions of case report
