Expected Learning Outcomes

The course aims to provide first of all the basic notions of human nutrition (main characteristics of foods, nutritional principles and their digestion, absorption and metabolism) in order to be able to address the main issues related to sports nutrition and supplementation.

Good knowledge of Anatomy and Physiology
Good knowledge of General Biochemistry and Nutrition

Good knowledge of energy metabolism during physical activities
