To develop theoretical and practical knowledge to play the main technical and tactical gestures of fencing, particularly in foil.

Learning teaching addressed to school age pupils.

Learn to respect your opponent by observing the rules.

Direct execution by all students of technical - practical activities proposed by the teacher. Preparatory to the fundamentals. Specific exercises with promotional materials. Games.

Detailed Course Content

The task of the sport. The fencing master and pupil. Foil, Sabre and Foil: differences and similarities between the weapons. Essential elements. The weapon's attitudes and the simple actions about foil. General on the defense about foil. Compound actions. The basic elements of fencing. Regulation notions.

Learning Assessment Procedures

The exam will focus on an oral, written and/or practical test for the teacher. 

The grade will be awarded taking into account the correct presentation  of the topics covered but also the frequency, punctuality, active participation and cmmitment during the lessons.

The dates of the appeals will be communicated in time.
