Expected Learning Outcomes

Knowledge and understanding
Students will acquire knowledge of the main organizational and management models in healthcare and rehabilitation, with particular reference to the planning of rehabilitation activities, the integration between health and social care systems, and the principles of clinical governance.

Applying knowledge and understanding
Students will be able to understand and interpret the organization of rehabilitation care pathways, recognizing the roles of different healthcare professionals and levels of care within the rehabilitation service network.

Making judgements
Students will develop the ability to critically analyse the organization of rehabilitation services and to evaluate the importance of integrating health, social, and rehabilitation interventions in patient care.

Communication skills
Students will be able to use appropriate terminology in healthcare management and interact effectively with members of the multidisciplinary team in planning the individual rehabilitation project.

Learning skills
Students will be able to further develop their knowledge of healthcare and rehabilitation service organization through independent study and consultation of scientific and regulatory sources.

Learning assessment may also be carried out on line, should the conditions require it.

Oral  exam:  Elements to be evaluated: relevance of the answers, quality of their contents, ability to connect with other topics within the program, ability to report examples, quality of technical language, and overall expressive ability.
