1. Knowledge and understanding
Students will acquire basic knowledge of the role of the company in the economic system, its structure, and dynamics. The conditions for company evolution and the connections that influence management will be analyzed, including economic and financial balance and risk management, with particular reference to companies in the healthcare system.
2. Applied knowledge and understanding
Ability to apply accounting reporting tools and management control systems. Use performance evaluation methods and tools such as financial statements, cost analysis, and management control.
3. Autonomy of judgment
Ability to critically assess the efficiency, effectiveness, and equity of healthcare services. Capacity to interpret data and impact indicators (economic and health-related) in order to make informed decisions and manage the complexity of healthcare systems.
4. Communication skills
Ability to communicate clearly and using appropriate technical language the management strategies of healthcare organizations, the performance achieved, and critical issues to both specialist and non-specialist audiences (e.g. corporate management, healthcare professionals, policy makers).
5. Learning skills
Develop self-learning skills necessary for continuous updating on organizational models, healthcare regulations, and technological innovations.
