Expected Learning Outcomes

  • Development of reading, listening and comprehension skills based on audiovisual and multimedia supports.
  • Acquire lexical knowledge related to the discussed topics.
  • Understand an oral and written message on topics of personal, social, daily and professional field.
  • Communicate correctly an oral and written message (grammar, vocabulary, intonation, pronunciation).

Course Structure

This course aims to develop participants' communicative self-sufficiency in international and multicultural contexts, which will be based on grammatical foundations and practical activities of reading and understanding texts, listening and oral and written production. Through the use of audiovisual teaching material and role playing activities, the aim is to strengthen lexical knowledge and develop critical and analytical skills in a foreign language. If the course is taught in mixed or remote mode, the necessary variations may be introduced with respect to what was previously declared, in order to respect the planned program and reported in the syllabus.

Required Prerequisites

Excellent knowledge of the Italian language and A1 level of the English CEFR.

Attendance at lessons is strongly recommended.
