1. Knowledge and understanding – The student must demonstrate knowledge and understanding of:
- the main risk factors for disease and the levels and types of prevention;
- the fundamentals of preventive medicine and the organization of the National Health System;
- the strategies and techniques of health promotion and health education aimed at individuals and the community;
- the principles of prevention applied to the concepts of chronicity, disability, and rehabilitation;
- the role of the occupational therapist in prevention and health promotion programs.
2. Ability to apply knowledge and understanding – The student must be able to:
- apply theoretical knowledge to prevention, rehabilitation, and health promotion contexts;
- use tools and methodologies for identifying and managing risk factors;
- contribute to the design and implementation of preventive and rehabilitative interventions;
- integrate the principles of preventive medicine into the practice of occupational therapy;
- collaborate with the multi-professional team in managing treatment pathways.
3. Independent judgment – The student must demonstrate the ability to:
- critically evaluate the health needs of individuals and the community;
- analyze clinical and organizational situations from a preventive and rehabilitative perspective;
- identify intervention priorities based on risk factors and disability conditions;
- develop decision-making skills consistent with the biopsychosocial model;
- reflect on the ethical and professional impact of their operational choices.
4. Communication skills – The student must be able to:
- use appropriate technical and scientific language in the preventive and rehabilitative fields;
- communicate clearly and effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals;
- convey information related to health promotion and prevention;
- actively participate in the work of the multidisciplinary team, enhancing the role of the occupational therapist;
- adapt communication to the characteristics of the patient being treated.
5. Learning skills – The student must demonstrate:
- independent learning and review of disciplinary content;
- development of ongoing professional development skills in preventive medicine and rehabilitation;
- critical use of scientific texts, guidelines, and institutional documents;
- integration of new knowledge into professional practice.

Oral exam. Elements to be evaluated: relevance of the answers, quality of their contents, ability to connect with other topics within the program, ability to report examples, quality of technical language, and overall expressive ability.
