ANATOMY

Academic Year 2022/2023 - Teacher: GRAZIA MAUGERI

Expected Learning Outcomes

The course aims to provide students with the basic concepts on the knowledge of macroscopic, microscopic and topographical anatomy of the main systems and apparatuses of the human body. In particular, the expected learning outcomes of the course are:

KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: By means of classroom teaching at the end of the course it is hoped that the student will have learned the microscopic constitution and functioning of all organs and systems, as well as their macroscopic situation

MAKING JUDGMENTS: the student will verify the learning and understanding of the concepts presented by the lecturer through the possibility of intervening in class. He/she should be able to reorganize and implement the knowledge learned, critically discussing and explaining the anatomical and physiological conditions of all systems, the organ and regional topography.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS: the student will have to demonstrate to have developed the ability to describe the anatomical and functional framework of a subject in an effective and comprehensive way, to express the concepts learned with an appropriate language.

Course Structure

The course is organized through theoretical and practical exercises, during which there is a guided study on anatomical models and pieces related to the districts mentioned in the course contents. The exercises will also include virtual dissection activities with the Anatomage (virtual dissection table).
