ANATOMY
Academic Year 2022/2023 - Teacher: CLAUDIA LOMBARDOExpected Learning Outcomes
The course aims to provide students with the basic notions in the field of anatomical organization, topography and structure of the organs of the human body, which constitute the premise for subsequent scientific disciplines.
The final objective of the course is:
- acquire the basic anatomical knowledge to understand the general organization of the human body with particular attention to the systems involved in motor activities
- understand the mechanisms that allow individual cells, tissues and organs to perform their specific functions within the human body
- identify the organs that make up the different systems, their physical and functional relationships.
The acquisition of this knowledge will allow the student to face the following courses with full profit and will also provide the graduate with a useful cultural background for practicing the profession and for interacting with other professionals.
Therefore, the expected learning outcomes foresee that at the end of the course the student will be able to:
- remember the fundamental concepts of anatomy
- recognize the correlations between the structures of the human body and their functions
- apply the acquired anatomical knowledge.
Course Structure
frontal teaching supported by anatomical models
Required Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of human anatomy.
Attendance of Lessons
Compulsory attendance as per Regulation.
Detailed Course Content
The course will define the anatomic appropriate terminology and will examine from a morpho-functional point of view the microscopic, macroscopic structure and the functional correlations of the main organs and systems of the human body involved in motor and sports activity. Particular attention will be paid to the anatomy of the digestive, respiratory, urinary and nervous systems.
