Expected Learning Outcomes

Provide students with the elements for the correct collection of anamnestic data.

Methodology applied to the diagnosis of site and to the diagnosis of nature in Neurology.

Chronopathology of Neurological Diseases.

To provide students with the basic epidemiological and clinical elements for the diagnostic formulation of the main neurological diseases of the central nervous system and of the peripheral nervous system and of the diseases of the muscles.

Provide students with the elements of rehabilitation within the nervous system, central and peripheral.

Course Structure

Knowledge of anatomy and physiology of the central nervous system, of the peripheral nervous system and of the musculoskeletal system.

Should teaching be carried out in mixed mode or remotely, it may be necessary to introduce changes with respect to previous statements, in line with the programme planned and outlined in the syllabus.

Notions of neuroanatomy and neurophysiology of the central and Peripheral nervous system and of the muscular system. The analysis of neurological signs - diagnosis of the site. Analysis of symptoms in neurology - diagnosis of nature. Chronopathology of neurological diseases. Neurodegenerative diseases. Inflammatory diseases. Hereditary diseases. Peripheral nerve disease. Diseases of the muscles. Epilepsy. Headache Coma. Disturbances of consciousness. Cerebro-vascular diseases.
