Department Council

The Department Council is composed of all faculty members affiliated with the Department of Biomedical and Biotechnological Sciences.

Student representatives are entitled to attend meetings and vote. Two of them are PhD students. Student representatives account for 15% of the Council membership, rounded up to the nearest whole number. Representatives of the technical and administrative staff are also entitled to attend and vote and account for one fifth of the staff assigned to the Department. When calculating the number of student and technical-administrative staff representatives, figures are rounded up to the nearest whole number.

Student representatives and representatives of the technical and administrative staff are not entitled to vote on the matters referred to in Article 14, paragraph 2, letters a), b) and d) of the University Statute.
