Expected Learning Outcomes

     By offering theoretical-cognitive and methodological tools and intending the dance technique as a means through which we can regulate movement, the aim of the course is to increase students' awareness of the expressive and communicative potential of the body.

Course Structure

    Frontal and laboratory teaching.

Required Prerequisites

    Aptitude for listening to music and movement.

Attendance of Lessons

Attendance in presence for the theoretical part and for laboratory/practical one.

Detailed Course Content

The course aims to give students a cognitive and technical structure on dance, which can be used in instrumental terms to achieve a sensitive awareness of the gnoseological and pedagogical value of the body and of dance. The space-time that is intended to be reserved for reflection will be significant to do justice to the teleological intention of the course, which unfolds in the philosophical idea of ​​knowledge and self-care through art and dance in the first place. An integration between the theoretical part and the laboratory one is envisaged, in recognition of the educational value that practical experience possesses, especially if the body and movement are the protagonists.
