The Physical and Rehabilitative Medicine module aims to identify the main orthopedic pathologies in order to evaluate their recovery programs. The course also aims to deepen the knowledge on the principles of kinesiology of the spine, hip, knee and shoulder and the main pathologies of these joint districts, to know the various types of muscle injuries and overload pathologies in the sportic (enthesitis, tendinitis).

Weekly frontal lessons with slides and videos.

Consolidated knowledge of anatomy and physiology
Detailed Course Content
Scoliosis, dysmorphisms, paramorphisms and rehabilitation aspects; degenerative and traumatic pathologies affecting the vertebral spine and principles of rehabilitation; pathologies of the PNS and principles of rehabilitation; instrumental physical therapy; degenerative and traumatic pathologies of the musculoskeletal system and principles of rehabilitation treatment; functional evaluation scales (Barthel scale and FIM scale); use of electromyography in rehabilitation; biomechanics of the hip, knee and shoulder; bed rest syndrome, rehabilitation / long-term care / RSA. Rehabilitation after orthopedic pathologies ( hip and knee prothesis, fractures)
